Helsinki University Hospital (HUS) – the largest specialized healthcare provider in Finland - and Tietoevry Care – a leading provider of health and social care software - have agreed on a partnership to develop data and AI solutions. This strategic partnership started in 2016, and the value of the newly signed deal is 24 million euros.

More than half (54%) of the respondents surveyed* across Finland, Norway and Sweden report that their organization has experienced at least one cyberattack in the past year that caused serious disruption. Nearly nine out of ten (87%) anticipate the number of attacks to further increase in the coming years, yet only 32% feel very confident in their organization’s ability to detect and respond to incidents.
A new survey conducted on behalf of Tietoevry Banking reveals that 18% of Norwegians and 15% of Swedes have fallen victim to financial fraud or identity theft in the past year. This represents approximately 800,000 Norwegians and 1.2 million Swedes. Tietoevry Banking, which assists banks in detecting and stopping fraud, recorded an “all-time high” number of fraud attempts in both countries during the summer months, with a 47% increase compared to the previous year.
The new solution enables more efficient patient-centered care with less administration. The implementation marks an important step for care providers within the capital region that want to take ownership of and make available all clinical data.
