NASSCOM Tech Innovation Conclave 2022
The NASSCOM Tech Innovation Conclave 2022 took place on Wednesday, July 20, at Hyatt Regency in Pune. The theme for this first in-person mega event in the region was ‘Decoding the impact of Innovation’. The event was a huge success and brought together over 650 delegates from across the business spectrum to discuss advanced and inventive approaches on leadership, business strategy and innovation in a digital ecosystem.
Tietoevry was prominently present at the conference as the lanyard sponsor. We were over 25 colleagues representing the company in the sessions, some as speakers, and also hosting our exhibition booth which showcased our impressive new brand that was launched in January this year.
We thank all the people who visited our exhibition booth and engaged with us to know more about the overall Tietoevry group and particularly our participating businesses Tietoevry Banking, Tietoevry Care and Tietoevry Industry.
Tietoevry experts delivered insightful sessions on two important technical innovation topics:
1. Central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) are digital tokens, similar to cryptocurrency, issued by central banks of countries. With cryptocurrency gaining popularity, it is important to understand what CBDCs are and how they will affect economies, financial network and stability. Sathish Padmanathan, Head of Product Engineering, Payments and Messaging, at Tietoevry Banking, spoke on the topic ‘Deciphering Central Bank Digital Currencies’ and explained why they may change the future of cash.
